The Heart House of Palmer Alliance is a nonprofit dedicated to providing holistic mental health alternatives for the community.  Breathwork, yoga, and meditation, sound baths and nature based activities are powerful tools that support mental health by helping to regulate the nervous system, reduce stress, and increase self-awareness. While not a cure, these practices can ease symptoms of anxiety, depression, and emotional overwhelm by promoting a sense of calm and grounding. They create space for individuals to connect with their bodies and breath, offering a gentle yet effective way to manage emotions, improve focus, and build resilience over time.   

 The sponsorship and funds we receive from the Holistic Initiative Program allow us to offer Corazón Creativo—a free art program for local schools in Río Grande. This vibrant initiative gives children a safe space to express themselves, explore their creativity, and connect with their culture through painting, crafts, and storytelling inspired by island life. Led by local artists, Corazón Creativo reflects our mission to uplift young minds through art, community, and cultural pride. 

 Heart House of Palmer Alliance operates under the ARE YOU OK? mission by providing alternative holistic services that promote mental, emotional, and spiritual wellness. Through sound baths, Reiki, yoga, meditation, and connecting with nature, Heart House offers gentle, non-invasive ways to support healing and resilience in the community. By welcoming both locals and visitors, it creates a nurturing space for self-care and reflection, while using tourism as a resource to fund projects that uplift the island’s wellbeing. This approach aligns with the ARE YOU OK? mission of fostering awareness, support, and accessible mental health alternatives for all.
